Officials have closed the westbound lanes of East Iliff Avenue in Aurora due to a water line break, which could cause significant traffic issues on Monday.
Aurora Water reported the morning closure on its social media pages and recommended that drivers use Yale or Mississippi avenues instead of Iliff Avenue.
Aurora Water says the break has not impacted customers.
At 8:30 a.m. the agency said one westbound lane had reopened. Crews are still working on a water line that was broken when a car hit a water hydrant.
Aurora Water anticipates all lanes will be open by evening rush hour.
