The Denver Police Department reported via social media three separate crashes Sunday night into early Monday morning that killed one person and sent three to the hospital.
DPD reported a fatal crash at 1:41 a.m. Monday at West Alameda Avenue and South Sheridan Boulevard that killed one person. The Office of the Medical Examiner has not released the name of the person killed.
Just before 6 p.m. Sunday, police responded to a crash involving two motorists and two pedestrians at East 14th Avenue and North Logan Street. Investigators are treating the incident as a hit-and-run, with both pedestrians transported to the hospital. Police did not share the extent of the injuries.
Denver police are also investigating a crash that happened around 10 p.m. Sunday at 18th and Market streets downtown. A collision between a motorist and a motorcyclist sent one to the hospital with what police say are non-life-threatening injuries.
Police did not indicate whether any of the drivers involved in the crashes have been ticketed or arrested.
