The Denver Police Department is investigating the death of a 17-year-old girl whose body was found in an alley Saturday, according to a Twitter post from the department.
Police said the teenager’s body was found at about 12:36 p.m. in the 1500 block of North Quebec Street.
reported that officials said there were signs of the girl’s death being criminal.
The identity and cause of death have yet to be released by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
Police say the circumstances of the death are still unknown and did not say if they had a suspect or how the girl ended up dead in an alley.
