Boulder County fire crews quickly contained a small grass fire early Tuesday morning in the Carriage Hills neighborhood.
According to the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office, the fire spread to about half an acre northwest of the city of Boulder before it was contained.
Early this morning we responded to a small wildfire, estimated at 0.5 acres, in the Carriage Hills neighborhood. Firefighters did great work and have it contained and are mopping up. No injuries. No structure loss.

Crews were mopping up the fire a little after 6 a.m.
Due to high winds and dry conditions, Boulder County will be under a red flag warning beginning at 11 a.m. today.
There were no injuries or structure losses reported.
There was no word on the possible cause of the fire.
