Sunny skies and warm weather are expected to continue Wednesday, reaching a high of 74 degrees with 7 to 11 mph winds, gusting as high as 21 mph, according to the National Weather Service.

While red flag warnings from Tuesday have been lifted, the weather service warns that warm weather combined with wind can still be dangerous  for fire conditions. Parts of northeast Colorado and central and southeast Park County continue to have red flag warnings.

The National Weather Service expects temperatures to climb even higher through the workweek, with Thursday’s forecast high reaching 79 and Friday’s near 82.

The next chance of rain comes Friday night and Saturday. The high on Saturday should drop to around 61, with a chance of rain until 11 p.m., followed by a chance of rain and snow between 11 p.m. and 3 a.m. Sunday, and a slight chance of snow showers after 3 a.m. Sunday.

The high on Sunday is expected to reach 57, with a chance of rain and snow continuing through the day and evening, when the low should drop to around 35.
