Boulder had the highest percentage of people working from home at the beginning of the pandemic across metropolitan areas in the United States, .

The company found that 16.1% of Boulder residents worked from home in 2020, topping the list over Bend, Oregon; and Austin, Texas; which followed with 12.9% and 12.5% each.

Boulder’s work-from-home population was found to have increased 3.3% from 2019 to 2020, as the pandemic hit.

The Fort Collins and Denver metropolitan areas also ranked high on the list, reaching fifth and sixth places, with 11.7% and 11.4% of their populations working remotely.
