A man who was shot in Denver on Thursday morning was pronounced dead later in the day, police said.
The shooting happened in 8800 block of East 12th Avenue, police said at 9:08 a.m. on Twitter. The victim was taken by ambulance to a local hospital.
At 4:50 p.m., police announced that the shooting victim had died. An investigation is ongoing.
