
Crusoe Energy prioritized protecting its employees during the past two years.
And although Crusoe slowly integrated back to in-office work, the company is keeping a flexible schedule that lets employees work from home two days per week.

The company works to eliminate flaring of natural gas, reduce the cost of cloud computing and power bitcoin mining using a process that reduces carbon emissions.
Cully Cavness, president and co-founder of Crusoe Energy, says employees benefit when they can work together.

Calling Colorado home
Company founders Chase Lochmiller and Cavness are graduates who are happy they could locate their company headquarters in Denver. The company works to support the community and hire locally.
“Crusoe has been able to tap into a deep pool of talent across the energy and technology industries,” Cavness says.
In addition to getting a , Crusoe received support from the Denver Economic Development and Opportunity Office and the Metro Denver Economic Development Corporation.
Living in Colorado also offers other intangible benefits.
The opportunity for outdoor activities in Colorado appeals to Crusoe’s employees, promotes healthy living, and helps foster a high quality of life, Cavness says.
