Two injured in Denver stabbings reported within an hour of each other Monday night

Both stabbings happened within a few blocks of each other in Five Points

Two people were injured in two downtown Denver stabbings a few blocks from each other and were also reported within an hour of each other.

The first stabbing was at the intersection of Park Avenue West and Curtis Street in Five Points.

One victim was found and taken to the hospital in unknown condition, police said.

The second stabbing also happened in Five Points, in the 300 block of E. 20th Street near Benedict Fountain Park. , and one victim was also found and taken to the hospital with unknown extent of injuries.

The Denver Police Department said Tuesday morning they are investigating the stabbings as separate incidents.
