After finding a 2-year-old girl alone in Aurora on Friday evening, her mother was located sometime later, police said.

The girl was found at about 6:30 p.m. in the 14000 block of East Montview Boulevard, police said, in an area dense with multi-residential buildings. In a 9:36 p.m. tweet, people said the girl’s mother had been located. Detectives and the Arapahoe County Department of Human Services continue with their investigation.
