So of the three Denver pro teams who have started their season or are about to begin, who has the best odds?
The defending Stanley Cup champions , coming in at +425 — meaning a $100 bet would win $425 — according to BetMGM. In fact, the Avs are the favorites in the NHL, with a sizable lead over the Maple Leafs (+800) and Panthers (+900).
Next are the mostly healthy Nuggets, who have the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy. They have the ninth-best odds, behind the favorite Celtics (+500) and Warriors (+600).
Coming in third are the Broncos, — tied for 15th with the Browns. It’s a far cry from the +1,600 they were at entering the season.
