Pick 6: Championship odds for the Avalanche, Nuggets, Broncos, more

The Avalanche celebrated its Stanley Cup win again on Wednesday night, complete with a win, a championship banner and Blink 182’s Mark Hoppus.

So of the three Denver pro teams who have started their season or are about to begin, who has the best odds?

The defending Stanley Cup champions , coming in at +425 — meaning a $100 bet would win $425 — according to BetMGM. In fact, the Avs are the favorites in the NHL, with a sizable lead over the Maple Leafs (+800) and Panthers (+900).

Next are the mostly healthy Nuggets, who have the Larry O’Brien Championship Trophy. They have the ninth-best odds, behind the favorite Celtics (+500) and Warriors (+600).

Coming in third are the Broncos, — tied for 15th with the Browns. It’s a far cry from the +1,600 they were at entering the season.

As for the Rockies and the Rapids, next year’s odds won’t be released until the end of their league’s respective playoffs.
