National law firm Michael Best & Friedrich LLP is now one of several legal industry tenants occupying space in skyscraper Block 162 in downtown Denver.
Bringing its team of about 30, the firm took over 15,000 square feet on the 20th floor at 675 15th St. It relocated to the 30-story office tower from its former space at 1776 Lincoln St., and held an open house on Oct. 27.
“While we continue to evolve as a firm, this move demonstrates our commitment to growth in downtown Denver,” said Susan Hollender, chief growth officer. Michael Best plans to continue expanding in the Centennial State through recruitment and retention efforts.
Sherman & Howard LLC signed the first lease at Block 162. Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck also plans to move to the Central Business District building — Denver’s 11th tallest — after four decades in the same location.

The firm, founded in 1848, employs more than 350 lawyers and technical professionals overall. Michael Best works with a number of industries, including agribusiness, health care, higher education and life sciences.
Its Denver office offers strategic legal services, such as business planning, estate planning, cannabis, energy and more. With nationwide, Michael Best’s other Colorado office is in Broomfield at 8300 Arista Place.
