The fest — produced by Kygo’s own Palm Tree Crew, entertainment group C3 and local venue Belly Up Aspen — made previous stops in The Hamptons, Cabo San Lucas, and Croatia before landing in the mountains.
The local lineup also includes King Princess, Gryffin, Cannons and Forester.
In a statement, Kygo lauded Aspen for its restaurants, bars and ski amenities, which make the town an ideal destination for the festival.
“I’ve played at Belly Up and the X Games before but this one is going to be very special,” said Kygo. “The lineup has some amazing artists and it’s right in downtown Aspen so it’s going to be a fun one!”
