49ERS at SEAHAWKS
8:15 p.m., 49ers by 3 ½, 43 ½
HANK’S HONEYS: Seattle has regressed over the last month while the 49ers look better each week. If anything, the 49ers offense has improved under Brock Purdy, who will be facing a defense that has allowed over 28 ppg over the last four weeks. The Seahawks have been getting mauled on the ground (209.5 ypg over the last four) and the 49ers remain one of the best power running teams in the league.
Meanwhile, the Seahawks have averaged just 13.3 ppg against the three top 10 defenses they have faced this year. RB Kenny Walker III missed last week’s game and could still be slowed by an ankle injury. The 49ers breezed against the Bucs and were able to rest people late in the game. Except for Purdy, who has been listed as day to day with an oblique injury, they should be ready for the short week as opposed to the Seahawks, who went through a physical game against the Panthers and will be up against another physical opponent here.
IF I WERE A BETTING MAN: Niners and the over.
