Getting your player ready...

I am so unbelievably grateful to receive such a prestigious award.

I want to thank everyone in my support system for being there for me every step of the way. I want to thank my parents who have always been there for me, always doing everything they can to make sure I succeed. I could not ask for anyone better; they mean the world to me.

I want to thank Coach V for always being there for me and being someone who has elevated my game throughout the years. He’s always been my biggest advocate and I can’t thank him enough.

I want to thank all of my teammates, coaches and teachers at Vista Ridge, who have made this award possible. The accolades, scholarships and everything else would not be possible without their help. I can’t thank them enough for always believing in me and letting me be someone they can always turn to in any situation.

Lastly, I want to thank The Denver Post for this great honor as a reflection of my family, teammates, coaches and school. It is amazing to see the individuals who have won this award before me, and now be a part of that fraternity.

This award displays not only how well you play the game, but how well you present yourself in every other aspect on and off the field.
