Denver is warming back up after a historic deep freeze in the days before Christmas.

The city should see sunny skies Monday with a high temperature of about 51 degrees, followed by even more sunshine Tuesday, with temperatures topping out at about 65 degrees, according to the National Weather Service at Boulder.

On Wednesday the city will start to cool down and could see some rain. The cooler temperatures will stay throughout the week, with highs in the mid-40s through Saturday, according to the Weather Service.
