The armed person who was in a parked car for over three hours refusing to cooperate with Arvada police is now in custody.
The situation has been resolved – the suspect has been taken into custody. The shelter in place has been lifted.

The car was parked near 54th Avenue and Cody Street, and residents in the area were asked to shelter in place, the Arvada Police Department said in a tweet. The shelter-in-place order has been lifted.
The incident was first reported at 6:23 a.m.
Jefferson County Regional SWAT was also at the scene.
