Access to downtown Denver on Monday night will be limited as officers prepare for the crowds expected to pour out after the Denver Nuggets game.
Residents should speak with officers in order to access certain downtown areas, police said on Twitter.
The Nuggets beat the Heat in Game 5 of the NBA Finals Monday night at Ball Arena.
At least one barricade at Park Avenue and Larimer Street was still standing after the game ended.
ROADS CLOSED: Officers are around & downtown to assist large crowds & heavy vehicular traffic with exiting the area. Beginning now, access to downtown will be limited due to road closures. Residents should speak with an officer at closures to access downtown area
