An Aurora police officer shot and killed the teen on June 1

The family of Jor’Dell Richardson walks behind the hearse carrying his casket during a memorial and march for him starting at the Aurora Municipal Center and moving through the city on Friday, June 16, 2023. The memorial took place two weeks after Aurora police officer Roch Gruszeczka shot and killed Richardson as he fled from police investigating suspicious activity on June 1.
