Denver police on Friday arrested a third individual in connection with a shooting that left 10 injured amidst a Denver Nuggets’ championship celebration in Lower Downtown.

Kenneth Blakely, 24, is being held on investigation of attempted first-degree murder, police announced Friday afternoon on Twitter. The Denver district attorney will file formal charges.

Police previously arrested two individuals — Ricardo Vazquez and Raoul Jones — in connection with the horrifying June 13 shooting near 20th and Market streets that investigators said may be connected to a drug deal. The flashes of gunfire came amidst thousands of jubilant fans reveling in the first NBA championship in franchise history. Half or more of the injured people were innocent bystanders.

Vazquez and Jones were arrested on investigation of possession of a weapon by a previous offense, while Vazquez faces additional accusations of possession of a controlled substance.
