Colorado has added more competition in the trenches.
On Monday, junior college transfer Jeremiah McCrimmon announced that he has committed to the Buffaloes.
A preferred walk-on at Mississippi State in 2021, McCrimmon played last year at Coahoma (Miss.) Community College. He earned a scholarship offer when he attended CU’s post-graduate camp in May and has three seasons to play.
McCrimmon is 6-foot-6, 310 pounds and has played guard and tackle.
The addition of McCrimmon gives CU 14 scholarship offensive linemen for this season. McCrimmon is the fourth junior college lineman to join the Buffs this offseason, along with Isaiah Jatta (Snow College), Kareem Harden (Butler) and Jack Wilty (Iowa Central).
