One person is dead after a Tuesday morning shooting at a house in Highlands Ranch, and authorities have taken one person into custody.
‘s deputies responded at 8:25 a.m. to the shooting at a house on Timber Hawk Circle, according to an agency posting on Twitter.
When deputies arrived they found a man dead inside the home, the sheriff’s office said in an afternoon news release.
A woman, identified as Victorine Galvan Grice, 55, was arrested at the scene on investigation of second-degree murder, the sheriff’s office said.
The man’s identity will be released by the Douglas County Coroner’s Office.
Active Investigation: deputies responded to a report of a shooting at a residence on Timber Hawk Circle in Highlands Ranch at 8:25 this morning. One person deceased. One person in custody. No danger to the public. Detectives are on scene conducting an investigation.
