Interstate 70 was briefly closed in both directions near Eagle today to a vehicle fire, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.
The department announced the closure on X, the social media site formerly known as Twitter, just before 2 p.m. The road was at mile marker 143 and reopened at 2:15 p.m.
