Retired Denver Broncos quarterback Peyton Manning spent $5.3 million in September to buy the house near his 16,000-square-foot Cherry Hills Village mansion.

According to Arapahoe County property records, Wahoo Properties LLC bought the 3,582-square-foot home in the 3900 block of South Colorado Boulevard from the Beverly A. Clark Living Trust on Sept. 20.

A source close to Manning said the retired football star considers the purchase a business, not a personal transaction, and he does not plan to move into the home or tear it down to build a mega-mansion.

Wahoo Properties LLC also purchased a seven-bedroom, 8.5-bath mansion on the same block for $4.6 million in July 2012 when Manning joined the Broncos.

Wahoo Properties, an Indiana corporation, lists Pey Dirt Inc. as its registered agent. Pey Dirt Inc., is an Ohio company also doing business as Peyton Manning Inc.

Manning, who led the Broncos to victory in Super Bowl 50 on Feb. 7, 2016, has made Denver his home.

According to CBS Sports, Manning and Terrell Davis coach their sons’ middle school football team.

Davis, a retired Denver Broncos running back who won Super Bowl rings with the team in 1998 and 1999, also recently purchased a Cherry Hills mansion.
