Sunday. Denver’s Goldspot Brewing hosts its third annual Queertoberfest from noon to 7 p.m., with delicious beers from more than a dozen breweries like Bierstadt Lagerhaus, Novel Strand Brewing, Our Mutual Friend, Celler West, Woods Boss Brewing and Burns Family Artisan Ales. There will be two food trucks (Little Red’s Kitchen and Cholo Ass Vegan), live music from 2 to 5 p.m., and a game area with musical chairs, beer pong and stein-holding.

Each brewery can choose a charity of their choice, and then 25% of the beer token sales are donated to that charity. Over the last two years, Goldspot, at 4970 Lowell Blvd., has raised about $9,000 for queer and BIPOC charities. Get more information at goldspotbrewing.com.

Channel your flannel

Sunday. Brrrr! That chill in the air means it’s time for the 6th annual Fall Flannel Festival at the Dairy Block and Denver Milk Market. Held in the “alley,” the fest includes a family-friendly lineup of activities, including face painting, a balloon artist, a photo booth and a craft station. Kids are encouraged to dress in costumes and go trick-or-treating (candy bags provided).

The festival, which runs from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and is free to attend, also includes live music. The Denver Aquarium will be on-site with reptiles and characters from Paw Patrol. Denver Milk Market and other Dairy Block establishments will be serving seasonal food and drink specials. The Dairy Block is located at 1800 Wazee St. Get more information at dairyblock.com.
