Suspect identified in fatal Denver motel shooting on East Colfax

Denver police are searching for a man suspected of first-degree murder in a shooting at the now-closed Regis Motel on East Colfax Avenue in September.

Police identified Tali Frazier, 29, as a suspect in the case on Thursday. Frazier is wanted on suspicion of first-degree murder.

City officials suspended the Regis Motel’s license three days after the shooting over concerns about criminal activity, including prostitution, drug sales, illegal weapons, drug sales and the homicide.

In a Sept. 28 order, city officials said the shooting occurred when a motel resident shot someone through their room door.
