A train engine caught fire early Thursday morning in Commerce City.
SACFD responding to a train fire just north of 104th & Hwy 2. Crews have water on the fire and working to extinguish. No injuries and cause will be investigated. Assisting agency and thank you Brighton Fire. Traffic in the area may be delayed.

The fire was reported just north of the intersection of 104th Avenue and Colorado 2 north of Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, the South Adams Fire Department reported about 7:45 a.m. on X.
Fire crews were working on extinguishing the fire, and no injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is being investigated.
