Denver International Airport’s ground stop was lifted about 8:30 a.m. Friday morning after fog in the area caused low visibility.

The started at 7:23 a.m. and will last until at least 8:45 a.m.

Arriving flights were also delayed at least 45 minutes due to the fog.

According to flight tracking site , 96 flights at DIA are delayed, including 54 departing flights and 42 arriving flights.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service in Boulder said the fog, which is causing visibility of a quarter mile or less, should dissipate between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m.
