New Year’s Day in Denver is ripe for a walk outside in the fresh air with meteorologists forecasting mild, sunny weather on Monday.
The high temperature is forecast to be 53 degrees with mostly sunny skies, according to the National Weather Service. Light winds are expected to kick up in the afternoon.
The next few days are expected to be sunny with temperatures in the upper 40s, but the next snow could be around the corner, meteorologists said.
A slight chance of snow is predicted Thursday and Friday with high temperatures predicted to dip into the low 40s on those days.
