More than 400 people took part in the annual Evergreen Lake Polar Plunge in Evergreen on Jan. 1, 2024. The plunge is a tradition, going back at least 15 years, that raises funds for Active4All Evergreen Foundation.
This year the event raised $25,000. Heated changing rooms were available to the participants. EMS and members of Evergreen Fire and Rescue were on hand to help the plungers. People dressed up in a variety of costumes and bathing suits to make the frigid plunge.
