Two boys reported missing from Jefferson County were found safe Friday night, according to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office.
The 5-year-old and 3-year-old were found in south Jefferson County and are being checked out to make sure they’re okay, the sheriff’s office posted on X at 6 p.m.
The 27-year-old woman who took them and who did not have permission to have them was arrested.
