A YouTuber and motorcycle rider who posted a video of himself driving Interstate 25 from Colorado Springs to Denver in 20 minutes and reaching speeds over 150 mph is wanted by the Colorado State Patrol on suspicion of reckless endangerment, reckless driving, menacing and other charges.

Rendon Dietzmann, 32, of Texas posts YouTube videos of himself driving various motorcycles at high speeds on highways across the U.S., frequently speeding through small gaps in traffic, between lanes and on shoulders, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

Dietzmann was identified through an investigation coordinated with the Dallas Police Department and El Paso County District Attorney’s Office. An arrest warrant was issued Dec. 5, according to court records. The Colorado State Patrol sent out a news release about the case Wednesday.

The since-deleted YouTube video posted in September showed Dietzmann going over 150 mph on I-25 starting at Garden of the Gods Road, squeezing through small gaps between vehicles and weaving between lanes and the highway shoulder.

The state patrol shared in a news release Wednesday.

Dietzmann is wanted on suspicion of menacing, engaging in a speed contest, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, speeding more than 40 mph over the limit, engaging in an exhibition of speed and driving without license plates attached.

“Illegal and reckless driving behavior will not be tolerated in Colorado,” spokesperson Sgt. Troy Kessler said in a statement. “We care too much for those traveling on our roadways to ignore the blatant disregard for the safety of others.”
