Denver teenager missing for more than five months found safe

CBI issued an alert in March for the teen who was last seen in January

A missing Indigenous teenager with the Oglala Sioux Tribe last seen in January has been found safe, according to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation.

CBI issued a missing Indigenous person in March for the teenager who was last seen walking in the 300 block of Denver’s North Acoma Street on Jan. 5.

On Friday, June 14, CBI announced the teenager was located safely and deactivated the alert.
