A man’s death on U.S. 6 Monday night was a result of suicide, according to Denver Public Health and Environment.

Denver police officers responded to a call about an adult man who jumped or fell from an overpass onto 6th Avenue at 5:25 p.m. Monday, said police spokesperson Katherine McCandless.

Eastbound U.S. 6 was closed until 8 p.m. for the death investigation.

The man’s death was a suicide, city spokesperson Tammy Vigil said Wednesday.
