New gondolas in the works for two Colorado ski resorts

Breckenridge and Winter Park seeking approval from the U.S. Forest Service

The QuickSilver SuperChair on Peak 9 at Breckenridge can get very crowded during peak periods. Breckenridge officials are seeking approval from the forest service to build a new gondola, which would have its lower terminal near the QuickSilver's lower terminal (shown) and run alongside it.
