A pedestrian struck by a driver early Friday has died from injuries sustained in the hit-and-run, according to Denver police.
Police reported the crash at Federal Boulevard and West Fourth Avenue. One pedestrian was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries and southbound Federal Boulevard was closed while police investigated, according to the post.
The pedestrian was later pronounced dead, according to a Monday morning update. The victim’s identity has not yet been publicly released.
