The two-time winner of Mrs. Colorado Petite from Greeley is preparing for her final pageant at the end of July under a new title.

Allie Pressler will compete as Mrs. Rocky Mountain Petite for her last competition at the Petite USA 2024 National Pageant from July 31 to Aug. 3 in Chicago. In her next chapter, she plans to switch over to bodybuilding competitions.

. At the Petite USA 2023 National Pageant in August, she took home the Presidentap Volunteer Service Award.

Since the start of her journey in the Petite USA system, Pressler has focused on a platform to help domestic violence victims through physical health. This idea came from Pressler’s firsthand experience with the topic — being in a domestic violence relationship for more than 10 years.

Competing in pageantry drove Pressler to better herself by going to school to become a personal trainer and nutritionist. She then created a nonprofit, Beauty Within the Barbells, to promote physical health for mental health recovery.

“We believe that a healthy body is essential for a healthy mind,” she said in a previous Tribune article. “Exercise and other forms of physical activity can play a critical role in improving an individual’s recovery.”

The nonprofit helps people recover from abusive situations through improvements in physical health by providing them tools and resources, such as access to fitness centers, classes and education.

As Pressler’s final competition inches closer, she feels grateful for the “forever friendships” made over three years of involvement in the Petite USA system.

“I’m grateful for the opportunity to have competed with other incredible women,” she said. “It has given me an opportunity to pursue a better version of myself as well as build a platform that helps me support a marginalized community.”
