A big win on the field on Saturday night turned into a big win on the recruiting trail on Monday.

Four-star prospect Antonio Branch visited CU this past weekend and was in attendance for the Buffaloes’ 38-31 come-from-behind overtime win against Baylor. On Monday, he decided to join the herd, flipping his commitment from Penn State to CU.

A 6-foot-2, 172-pound defensive back from Miami (Fla.) Northwestern High School, Branch committed to Penn State on June 19. In addition to Penn State, Branch has had heavy interest from Louisville, Nebraska and others, including Central Florida, Florida, Florida State, Miami and Michigan.

Rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports, Branch has a four-star rating from On3.

Branch is the eighth high school player verbally committed to CU for the 2025 class.
