A mandatory issued by the Boulder County Sheriff’s Office on Monday morning for residents living near South 76th and Sycamore streets in Superior has been lifted.
Authorities activated its emergency notification system at 7:35 a.m. regarding a “person of interest” who ran from police. He was described as a male wearing a white shirt, jeans and carrying a backpack.
The shelter order was lifted a little after 9 a.m. after residents in the area were asked to lock exterior doors and windows. Residents were asked to report any suspicious activity to either the non-emergency line at 303-441-4444 x2, or 911 if the resident felt like they were in danger or had seen someone matching the description of the suspect.
No further information was available as to whether anyone was apprehended by police.
