A Denver man was arrested this month after arranging to meet with Larimer County Sheriff’s Office deputies posing as children selling sex on local websites,

Malcom Cardelle McCrea, 36, was among dozens of men who investigators say responded to the listings. He was arrested Dec. 5 when he traveled to meet with a fictional minor.

McCrea is being held at the Larimer County Jail on a $50,000 cash-surety bond and faces four felony charges, including attempted sexual assault on a child and three child-prostitution crimes.

“Sexual exploitation of anyone is never acceptable, and crimes against children are particularly atrocious,” Larimer County Sheriff John Feyen said in a news release. “LCSO will always stand up for the most vulnerable and fight to impact these crimes.”
