A former Aurora-based United Airlines pilot was sentenced to prison Monday for posting photographs of his girlfriend on revenge porn websites, Utah court officials said.

Andrew Hill, 36, pleaded guilty in October to 10 felonies, including eight counts of distribution of pornography, one count of stalking and one count of sexual extortion, according to court records.

The plea agreement dropped additional charges of unlawful distribution of an intimate image and electronic communication harassment from Hill’s case, according to court documents. It also stipulated that his sentences for each felony would run concurrently.

Judge Matthew Bell sentenced Hill on Monday to up to 5 years in Utah State Prison for each charge, the maximum penalty allowed by law, .

The judge called Hill’s actions “disgusting and hurtful” and said that he was a “selfish, vengeful person,” the county attorney’s office said.

“Hill obtained intimate images of the victim and posted the images on various pornographic sites to terrorize and harm the victim emotionally and financially,” the county attorney’s office said. “This conduct continued for years.”

Hill’s girlfriend, who lives in Cedar City, Utah, told police he had spent more than 10 years creating online profiles pretending to be her and posting nude photos, according to his arrest affidavit. She said random men would call her and show up at her workplace looking for sex.

Utah’s Board of Pardons will ultimately determine how much of the zero to 5-year range Hill will spend in prison, but Bell recommended that Hill serve the maximum, with no credit for time served and no chance of parole.
