
The team behind is ready to reopen its location in the city’s Highland neighborhood after plumbing issues took the restaurant out of commission for more than a year.
The popular pizza, seafood and happy hour destination, at 2239 W. 30th Ave., will be back Thursday, Jan. 16, according to Cart-Driver’s newsletter. Parties of four or more can begin making reservations for Jan. 20 and beyond.
The LoHi location will be open for happy hour every day from 4 to 5:30 p.m.
What initially was expected to be in November of 2023 turned into a 22-day closure as crews ripped up the restaurant’s floor to reach the plumbing underneath. The next month, it would close for an extended period to continue repairs. The LoHi restaurant remained closed all last year and in the meantime .
To celebrate its return, the bar will feature a new bourbon cocktail called the “Tiger Tiger”. Cart-Driver will donate the cocktail’s proceeds this month to the in Keenesburg, Colorado.
The Highland location opened in late 2019; Cart-Driver’s original location is at 2500 Larimer St. in RiNo.
