Eastbound I-70 reopens near Eagle after car-fire closure

Eastbound Interstate 70 was closed Sunday near Eagle for a car fire, according to the Colorado Department of Transportation.

The eastbound interstate closed between U.S. 6 and Exit 147 for Eagle, about 3 miles east of Gypsum, around 11:30 a.m., .ѳܱپ in the area reported standstill traffic.

By 1:20 p.m., the section of I-70 had fully reopened.
