
Police are asking for the public’s help to find missing University of Colorado Boulder student Megan Trussell.

Trussell was last seen at 9 p.m. Sunday leaving her campus dorm, Hallett Hall, according to information on a poster provided by her mom, Vanessa Diaz.
Trussell, 18, was wearing a blue jacket, dark-colored yoga-style pants and white platform sneakers, according to Christine Mahoney, a spokeswoman for the CU police department.
According to , local and state law enforcement agencies are working to locate the student. The Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Denver office also that it was assisting in the search.
A CU Boulder police vehicle, members of the Boulder Emergency Squad dive team and other search and rescue personnel were parked west of the entrance to Boulder Canyon around the middle of the day on Thursday, according to a photographer who went to the scene.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation on Thursday that it is helping in the search.
