All lanes of C-470 reopened in Douglas County on Tuesday night after a 64-year-old man died in a single-vehicle crash, according to the Colorado State Patrol.

The man, who was driving a Ford F150, crashed into a road barrier while on westbound C-470 near Santa Fe Drive/U.S. 85 at around 3 p.m., the state patrol said in a news release. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.

State patrol officials said the truck rotated and rolled, blocking two lanes of traffic. Paramedics took the driver to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Douglas County coroner officials will identify the man at a later date.

Anyone with information about the crash should contact investigators at 303-239-4501.
