Power restored to nearly 30,000 Adams County customers

Outages largely impacted residents in Westminster, Thornton and Northglenn

Nearly 30,000 customers were without power in Adams County on Friday morning, according to Xcel Energy.

The utility’s showed 27,783 customers, largely in Westminster, Thornton and Northglenn, had lost power as of 11 a.m.

All but a handful of outages were resolved as of 12:20 p.m.
