Evacuations were lifted in a on Tuesday afternoon, according to the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office.
crews responded to a second-alarm wildfire about 12:30 p.m. near Laporte, in the 4300 block of West County Road 54G, the agency said on social media.
Firefighters had built a containment line around the flames by 1:40 p.m.
The sheriff’s office initially ordered mandatory evacuations for the area and and the Cache La Poudre River, from Rawhide Drive to the U.S. 287 bypass.
No one was injured, and no structures were threatened by the fire, officials said.
