An 18-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of trying to kidnap a teenage girl near on Monday, police officials said.
The 15-year-old girl was walking near the school at 9451 Hoffman Way, around 11:20 a.m. when Steven Houseman tried to grab her, but she resisted and Houseman fled, the in a news release.
Houseman was arrested at Thornton High School on suspicion of kidnapping, assault, false imprisonment and attempted sexual assault, the police department said Tuesday afternoon.
