Hikers found a body in Lake Dillon late Wednesday, which is investigating.
Lt. Mike Schilling said Friday that deputies didn’t observe any “initial, obvious signs of foul play” while examining the body discovered near the Frisco Peninsula at the Denver Water reservoir, near Interstate 70 and U.S. 6 west of Denver.
He said the has identified the person and is in the process of notifying immediate family.
Deputies said in a statement Wednesday that the discovery was unrelated to near Lake Dillon earlier that day.
