A 16-year-old boy has been charged with first-degree murder and aggravated robbery after the April shooting death of another teenager in Denver’s Lowry Field neighborhood.
Hamilton Biruck is suspected of in the 8500 block of East Lowry Boulevard on April 15.
Yzaguirre was taken to a hospital, where he died more than a week later, according to Denver police and the medical examiner’s office. Biruck
District attorney’s spokesperson Matt Jablow confirmed in an email that Biruck has been charged as an adult.
Biruck’s next court hearing is scheduled for June 13.
